A 1944 A-11 Closely Re-edited
We've gotten as close as we could to the original 1944 A-11 we purchased as a benchmark. You'll notice that our Type 44 and, the vintage A-11 do not have a second hand counter-balance. A-11s originally did but ours had its own broken off during its lifetime. A mark of its age, we decided to keep that lack of counter-weight for absolute authenticity.

Description
Built to honor the Battle of Iwo Jima's 80th Anniversary, the Pacific Memorial features the most iconic picture to come out of WW2: The Raising of the Flag on Mount Suribachi directly on the dial.
Featuring authentic volcanic sand from the beaches of Iwo Jima as the main part of the dial, this watch is a witness to the grit & courage that the US Marine Corps brought with them as they landed on the island.
