Desert Field - Mesa Red

The Desert Field pays homage to the iconic GG-W-113 design developed by the US-Military for its pilots in 1967. Featuring a 24H inner-ring and absolute legibility of the indexes, the "Field" in Desert Field is pretty self-explanatory.

For this limited edition redesign of our iconic Jungle Field - we've taken inspiration from the MERDC "Red Desert" camouflage pattern developed for use in arid & desert conditions in the 70s & 80s on vehicles. The "Mesa Red" brown-red dial references the US Earth Red standard color for MERDC.

The 34mm size of the Desert Field is a reference to the original 1960s US Military watches which used a similar diameter as standard. We've worked to keep the overall case thickness under 10mm to further reduce the watch's presence on the wrist.

We've used a TMI VH-31 Meca-Quartz (sweep second) to guarantee reliable & rugged timekeeping while keeping the overall case thickness to a minimum. Combined with 5ATM (50M/163ft) water resistance & a sapphire coated mineral crystal for increased ruggedness in any situation.

The C‑47 D‑DAY A‑11 is built with a matte black dial featuring applied white indexes and a 24‑hour inner ring for precise readability. Its 34mm surgical‑grade stainless steel case, finished with sandblasted lugs, offers a rugged yet refined presence at just 9.4mm thick including glass. A sapphire‑coated domed mineral crystal with anti‑reflective coating ensures durability and clarity, while the 18mm lug and strap width provide balanced wear. Water resistant to 5 ATM, this timepiece is powered by the reliable TMI VH31 Mecaquartz movement, combining the heritage of military design with modern performance.

Thanks to our expertise & quality materials your watch will require very little day-to-day care. You can help preserve its lustre by washing the case and bracelet from time to time using soapy water and a soft brush. Before cleaning your watch, always ensure that the winding crown is properly pushed down to guarantee waterproofness.
