Spec 2 Ameriquartz - White Patina

Featuring the most creative dial interpretation of the original A-11 Spec yet, the "White Patina Canvas" carries a reinforced field watch & vintage aesthetic thanks to its Drab Green Canvas Strap. A tried & true military designed material, the canvas adds a strong rugged character to an arguably more refined dial.

While the dial design in of itself remains resolutely authentic, the clean white dial base with faux-patina contoured black indexes provides a different experience than on our other variants. The funky minute & hour indexes throw back to a time where these watches were literally hand painted. To add onto that, the volume of the triple printed hour indexes mimic the irregularities that a traditional 1940s paint brush would have left on the dial. 

With such a creative dial, the case serves to firmly ground the watch in its 1940s A-11 Mil-Spec origins. The main case body is sandblasted to remove any shine; as any self-respecting field watch would. However, as a reference to the original shiny Chrome Plating most A-11s had back in the day, we've opted for shiny lugs. 

The Drab Green Canvas strap helps to push the white dial design firmly into Field Watch territory. Built to be thick & tough it makes sense that most US soldiers opted for similar straps when in the field.
