A 1944 A-11 CLOSELY RE-EDITED
We've gotten as close as we could to the original 1944 A-11 we purchased as a benchmark. You'll notice that our Type 44 and, the vintage A-11 do not have a second hand counter-balance. A-11s originally did but ours had its own broken off during its lifetime. A mark of its age, we decided to keep that lack of counter-weight for absolute authenticity.

DD-45 "OG"
Description
The DD-45 "OG" is built around one of the most enduring field watch designs ever created.
During World War II, the British War Office commissioned a group of watches - later known as the “Dirty Dozen”- to provide soldiers with clear, dependable timekeeping in the field. Their design established the blueprint for the modern military field watch: simple, highly legible, and built for reliability under pressure.
The Praesidus DD-45 preserves that utilitarian layout while upgrading it for modern durability. A screw-down crown and 10 ATM water resistance improve protection in wet environments, while a double-domed sapphire-coated crystal shields the dial from scratches and everyday wear.
Inside, the watch is powered by a high-precision American-built quartz movement. Chosen for its accuracy, reliability, and minimal maintenance requirements, it delivers consistent timekeeping without the need for winding - making it a practical tool for daily use.
Each DD-45 is assembled in the United States, combining one of the most recognizable military field watch designs ever produced with modern materials and dependable performance.
