Praesidus A-11 Instruction Manual
Thank you for purchasing an A-11 timepiece!
Here is your quick guide to using your watch.
As an automatic watch powered by the renowned NH35 automatic movement, your A-11 timepiece, when worn, will wind automatically
Setting the Time
To set your A-11 timepiece to the desired time, simply follow these steps:
- Simply pull out the crown until the seconds hand stops.
- Then, turn the crown in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction until you set the desired time.
Manual Winding
Keeping your watch stored for a long time or not using it regularly may cause it to stop running. This does not mean it’s a malfunctioning timepiece. It only means there is not enough energy stored in the watch’s mainspring.
Generally, your watch has a power reserve that can last for up to 48 hours when not used. After this, you need to wind the watch manually or just wear it right away.
To manually wind your A-11:
- Make sure the crown is pushed down (so, not in the time setting position).
- Then, rotate it following the clockwise direction for approximately 30 to 40 times to fully wind the spring. Less winding is necessary if you start wearing it straight away, as the automatic winding will take over
