1941
TodayIn 1941, the U.S. War Department commissioned the A-11 as a standardized specification for military field watches.
Dependable & legible, it fought its way through all theaters of war and well into the 1950s. The design of the A-11 was so successful that it ultimately became the backbone of "Field" Watch Design worldwide.
