The Iconic Lost Watch of D-Day
The Tom Rice
Tom Rice originally took part in Operation Overlord as part of the 101st Airborne troops that dropped into Normandy, France on D-DAY (June 6th 1944). As he jumped from his C-47 Skytrain, he lost his A-11 issued watch. When we heard the story, we knew we had to revive this legendary watch in honor of Tom & all other D-Day veterans.
REVIEW RECAP
Our First Success with the Press
The A-11 compels you to look at it and wonder what was going through the minds of the US troops in the C-47s.
It’s awesome that design and originality prevailed over brand glorification.
The best modern version of the A11 watch issued to military members during WWII.
