The DD-45 "Field Olive" is our modern interpretation of what a British military field watch would look like if it were issued today. Built with the same spirit we've re-engineered it for contemporary American reliability.

Designed as a homage to the original Dirty Dozen designed for the British War Office to equip the British Army with a standardized high-performance field watch, the DD-45 surpasses the originals spec wise bringing it to the 21st century. Originally meant to be "Waterproof" we've modernized the initial design requirements.

The Praesidus DD-45 preserves that utilitarian layout while upgrading it for modern usage. A push/pull crown and 10 ATM water resistance improve protection in wet environments, with a flat crystal glass.

While the originals were mechanical, this modern execution features a high-precision Ameriquartz movement that is chosen for its superior accuracy, reliability, and low maintenance. Built for everyday field use, it delivers consistent performance without the need for winding, making it a practical tool for modern life.

At just 11.5mm thick with a 46.5mm lug-to-lug profile, it maintains balanced wrist presence without bulk. A flat crystal glass protects the dial, while the 20mm lug width allows for versatility. This is the classic “waterproof” military concept, updated with modern materials and construction standards.
