Born for the Depths

The A-5 UDT was designed to solve a problem as old as military diving itself: absolute reliability underwater. Rooted in an original U.S. Navy BUSHIPS design, this watch revives a system developed for WWII Underwater Demolition Teams, where failure was not an option. The oversized crown with integrated crown cap was historically the only dependable way to ensure water resistance during extended dive missions. This is not a stylized reinterpretation, but a functional resurrection of a true naval tool watch, paired with a black rubber Tropic strap to reinforce its amphibious intent.

Legibility Without Compromise

Housed in a fully sandblasted 38mm stainless-steel case, the A-5 UDT eliminates glare while delivering 20 ATM (660 ft) of water resistance. A double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, which reveals its complexity on closer inspection. Deeply embossed indexes and a raised minute track emerge from the matte black surface, enhancing readability and adding dimensional character. The brand signature and collection name are embossed rather than printed, remaining discreet and non-distracting. Swiss Super-Luminova ensures instant legibility in low-light and underwater conditions.
