A-11 U.S. Army Topo Green Automatic
$335.00
OFFICIALLY LICENSED · U.S. ARMY
For the years, the missions, and the memories you carry with you, this watch was made to hold a piece of your story. Licensed by the U.S. Army, built to the 1941 standard, and engraved with your legacy, it’s an heirloom to wear now and pass on later.
II · The Record
A commemoration matters most when it carries a story behind it. Your unit. Your years of service. Your name. The details that made those years yours. Engraved into the caseback, they turn a watch into a record of what you gave—and what deserves to be remembered.
The U.S. Army seal. Officially licensed and struck into the caseback as a lasting symbol of the institution you served and the legacy you became part of.
Your engraving. The unit, years of service, defining dates, or the names you remember—so the watch records the details that made your service yours.
Built to endure. Because the story deserves to outlast the person wearing it, carrying that record forward from one generation to the next.
III · The Pieces
Developed for military timekeeping during World War II, the A-11 became an enduring icon of American military watchmaking. The kind of watch your grandfather’s Army trusted. We carry that legacy forward today, officially licensed and personalized with the story only you can tell.
The A-11
Developed for military timekeeping during World War II, the A-11 became an enduring icon of American military watchmaking.
High-contrast dial and luminous hands, read at a glance in a foxhole in the dark.
A hacking movement allows precise synchronization.
Rugged and accurate enough for the beach, the drop, and the whole tour.
Worn by soldiers, airmen and paratroopers across every front of the war.
From D-Day to Bastogne to the Pacific, entire operations were timed to the minute on A-11s. Praesidus was born from one of those stories: the A-11 carried by paratrooper Tom Rice, lost in the waters off Normandy during his jump on June 6, 1944.
IV · The Dedication
Praesidus was built for one reason: to ensure the stories of those who served are never forgotten. Officially licensed by the U.S. Army, each watch becomes a record of the life and service behind it. Every story joins Pass The Torch, a living record of the people who served, so that long after the parades, the medals, and even the men themselves, the record remains.
A share of every commemoration goes back to those still serving
V · In Their Words
Real people. Real service. Told in their own words, and preserved for the record.
“I chose to purchase this watch because I am very familiar with the events of World War II. I like the Army logo and the color combination. It is easy to read and functional. This field watch embodies the spirit of those brave men who gave it all.”
“I own 3 Praesidus watches, this last one is the U.S. Army watch. I spent some time in the Army when I was young and I still support those who serve today.”
“I choose a Praesidus watch because I had been looking for a military watch with a simple, understated design. I also like the fact that this watch is assembled in the US.”
The men who wore it
Praesidus was built alongside the men who lived it. Their stories are why the standard still means something.
101st Airborne · D-Day
The watch Tom Rice lost during his parachute jump into Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
101st Airborne · Bastogne
During the siege, he carried beer to the wounded in his helmet—a legendary story he would tell for the rest of his life.
357th Fighter Group · Triple Ace
Scored 16¼ aerial victories over Europe in a P-51 Mustang, becoming one of WWII’s most legendary triple aces.
U.S. Navy · Fighter Ace
One of the only American aces to down both German and Japanese aircraft, from the carrier decks of two oceans.
For Yourself
Your unit. Your dates. Your name. An heirloom meant to outlive the moment.
For someone else
They may never ask for thanks. They may never tell the story themselves. Give them something that does.
Our Story
Praesidus was founded in 2019 to create wearable pieces of history rooted in authenticity, honor, and legacy. Our story began with a near-exact recreation of the WWII A-11 that paratrooper Tom Rice lost during his jump into Normandy on D-Day. Every piece since has been assembled at our Phoenix, Arizona headquarters and built to carry American history forward—not as something distant, but as something personal, tangible, and meant to be passed down.
