A-11 Tactical Patina
Description
The A-11 Tactical Patina is built from the original U.S. Military Specification for Service Watches issued in 1942 - an all-purpose instrument designed for battlefield reliability and instant readability.
This execution holds that brief. A stripped, high-contrast dial delivers immediate legibility in any condition. Indexes and hands are fully lumed to maintain visibility in low light without compromise. The dark chocolate brown dial is inspired by the patination that some WW2-era dials have gone through due to years of UV and humidity exposure.
A double-domed sapphire crystal sits above the dial, shaped to replicate the boxed acrylic crystals used on original A-11s. The profile stays true to the period, while sapphire brings modern scratch resistance and long-term clarity.
Inside, the watch moves to a modern Miyota 8025 automatic - adding a date function while preserving mechanical dependability for daily wear.
Each piece is assembled in the United States and fitted on either a brown leather strap or a green canvas strap, staying aligned with the functional roots of the original A-11.
