Inspired by the Machine Gunner of Bastogne

The Vince Speranza

A-11 Project

Vince Speranza is a WW2 101st Airborne machine gunner most known for his heroics defending Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge (Dec. 1944). He rose to popularity as it became known that he had been collecting beer in his helmet to bring to his friends in the hospital. Demobilized in Jan. 1946, Vince returned to New York where he then wrote “Nuts! A 101st Airborne Division Machine Gunner at Bastogne” - his memoirs of Bastogne. In 2022, we brought his experience in Bastogne to life through the A-11 Vince Speranza; designed directly with the veteran himself.

REVIEW RECAP

Our First Success with the Press

Its been executed perfectly.

If you’re a fan of themed watches & military history, definitely consider this one.

It’s a sturdily built watch with playful nods to its military heritage.
