A-11, THE WATCH THAT
WON THE WAR
WON THE WAR
Bastogne Machine Gunner
Vince Speranza
During the Battle of the Bulge, 19-year-old Army private Vincent Speranza manned a foxhole as Germans surrounded the Belgian town of Bastogne. The tenacious machine gunner of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, earned the nickname "Curse and Traverse" during the bloody battle.
We teamed up with the "Screaming Eagle" veteran, author, and war hero of Bastogne to create a special watch collection and to share his story. The Vincent Speranza Limited Edition honors all those who sacrificed themselves for our freedom.
D-Day Paratrooper
Tom Rice
At age 22, Tom Rice left Coronado, California, to volunteer and defend his country with the 101st Airborne Division. On the night of June 6th, 1944, Staff Sergeant Rice jumped into Normandy. Upon exiting, Tom tore his arm up to his wrist and lost his brand new prized A-11 wrist watch. Â
Together with Tom Rice, we re-created his lost watch and proudly present the 101st Airborne Division Limited Edition Collection to celebrate the exceptional service of these great men and to honor their sacrifice, bravery, and resilience.
